The Championship’s Character
Class Master forms communities of players that play a specific class, for example it forms a community of Warriors or a community of Paladins and provides them its score system and its unique rules of play to compete with each other in an effort to pronounce the best player for each specific class. If we wanted to know the best Shaman among Shamans or the best Priest among Priests, Class Master is the championship to find that out. But! It doesn’t stop there! Below you can learn more of what makes this championship a great spectacle to watch or even better, be a part of!
Pick a Class
In the Class Master, you become the embodiment of a class. This means that you can serve one class only! Your Hearthstone tag name will become a synonym with the class you choose to become in the championship. This is why before you make your choice you need to make sure to think about it very carefully and thoroughly!
Enter the league of your class
Once you choose a class, you are introduced to the corresponding league. A league full of players that serve the same class. If you choose a Warrior you are introduced to the Barracks, if you choose a Druid you are introduced to the Groves and so on…
Compete against your classmates
In the league of your class, you will compete against all of your classmates. Everyone will play against everyone in order to conclude the best of the class and be granted…

The games
The Class Master follows the “best of three” format. The player who wins first 2 games wins!
The deck format
While the Class Master uses the wild format for its games, the leagues are allowed to vote for their preferable mode, either it be wild, standard, classic or any combination of the above!
Medals, titles & Achievements
As a Championship that truly respects and honors its participants, The Class Master comes with its own Medal Awards, titles and achievements! This Championship never forgets you.
Points per game and Victory
The leagues run on points, scores and leader-boards
Game won > +1 point
Game lost > 0 points
Victory > +1 point to the overall score
Special rules
This only applies to games between players of the same class:
Dominance: You achieve dominance if you defeat your opponent without receiving any damage! This adds +0.5 points to your final score.
Devastation: You suffer devastation if you are defeated without inflicting damage to your opponent. This deducts -0.5 points from your final score.
A league for the Best Class of All
Once the Class Masters of each class have been pronounced, they are now introduced to a final league. The Class Masters are now to compete with each other in order to conclude the best class of all!
The Class Wars
After the Class Masters have been pronounced, they are eligible to lead their classmates to war against other classes! Warriors against Paladins, Druids against Rogues and so on. In the end, the strongest class is awarded the title of the…

“Hello my friends. I created this Championship out of the love and appreciation I have for the beautiful work done by the Blizzard’s people on their title Hearthstone heroes of Warcraft. My aim with the Class Master was to establish a stronger bond between the player and their hero/class while also granting the player a defining digital identity to present themselves not only to their on line community but also to the streaming audience. I set my Championship to thrive in a micro-community environment where real friendships can be made and even novice players can find their “corner”. I made some bold moves as you will read but I truly hope you find some interest in it and fall in love with it the way I did. Hope you’re having a pleasant read and I’m looking forward to meet you all in the Class Master Championship!”
Introducing micro communities
When you choose your class and enter your league, you’re not only joining a community of players that serve the same class as you but you’re also joining a micro community full of players that reside in your city!
True gender
When choosing your class, you also state your gender. In the Class Master when you play against your opponent you know if they are male or female.
Move to national, continental and global arenas
While the Class Master starts as a local championship, it allows its Champions the freedom to move into bigger Class Master arenas such as national, international and global!
Switching class
In the Class master, there are two ways you can switch to another class:
Becoming the Class Master. By doing that, you’re considered to have honored your class and therefor you’re allowed to leave. Revisiting your class in the future awards you with “special benefits” as an old Class Master of that class.
Serving your class. You serve your class by collecting points from victories. If you gather the points needed, you’re allowed to switch class. Returning to your old class in the future holds no special benefits.
Leaving your class in any other terms, will come with a penalty that will follow you to your new class and your old class if you ever wish to revisit!
